Summary:

As a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for leading contract employee teams at our client's Hardware Integration facility located in TX or NJ to integrate & provision complex, state-of-the-art cloud network hardware that will reside in the clients NEC’s, MSC’s, SAP’s & TAP’s to form the backbone of the client’s 5G Cloud Network. The candidate will be on-site daily at the facility located in Haslet Texas. The candidate will manage monthly team metrics of a $150M to $250M capital budget. The candidate will manage the procurement of hardware & accessories on a JIT - Just In Time topology. Establish relationships with manufacturer’s sales engineers from Dell, HPE, NetApp, Raritan/LeGrand, Vertiv, Eaton & Panduit. Be responsible for ensuring accurate & timely execution of the tasks pertaining to facility maintenance, inventory maintenance, hardware audits, physical & virtual security audits, and OSHA equipment service logs, & validate that they are maintained & updated at prescribed regular intervals. Be responsible for the coordination of shipping, receiving, packaging, & administering white glove logistics & rigging for the cabinets the team manufactures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and implement a plan for the operation to optimize results, & productivity, while continually developing a high-performing team that can anticipate technical trends and produce successful outcomes in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure a thorough understanding of our customer’s needs, so as to deliver a technical design that optimally fulfills our customer’s requirements.
• Develop the team’s technical skill set while expanding product knowledge to maximize value. This includes ensuring that the team attains and maintains designated manufacturer’s certifications with continuous reviews of technical literature.
• Motivate the team to provide consistent, high-quality technical deliverables, while identifying and developing enhancement opportunities for our Client Portal.
• Participate in leadership briefings and craft clean, professional-level presentations.
• Conduct periodic operations reviews to maintain focus and cadence on production excellence.
• Lead the production management of network hardware assembly.
• Lead the project management of the network hardware integration lifecycle.
• Lead the program management supporting the various facets of the operational model
• Manage the maintenance & testing of the client’s fiber network, while integrating the client’s cloud network hardware to bring fully assembled, cabled, tested, & data captured to the client’s cloud network engineering & operations teams.
• Possess subject matter expertise, so as to lead our green recycling initiatives including guiding the operation of equipment that recycles OCC & LPDE #4.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis (i.e., P&L, ROI, cost analysis, business case development, etc.).

Qualifications:
• Hardware manufacturer management experience & well-developed business relationships.
• Cloud network hardware assembly experience.
• Experience in the management of scripting/code development teams.
• Substantial network power management experience.
• Recent training in LOTO.
• Recent training in NFPA 70e.
• Substantial experience with HPE ilo, Dell idrac, NetApp A700, A800, A900.
• Substantial AC Power experience 480V, 208V 3Ph.
• Substantial DC Power experience Tyco GPS - Galaxy Power System -48V & +24V Rectification.
• Experience supervising teams that perform scripting and configuration of routers and switches including BIOS & Firmware revisions.
• Experience with dark and lit fiber testing using equipment such as OTDR, and fiberscope.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading end-to-end projects and support of business-critical Products/Systems, managing technology solutions, technical staff and vendors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts, influence and persuade the business, and make recommendations to management.
• Experience implementing and/or supporting business-critical systems where volume performance and uptime reliability are critical.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or computer science.
• Ten or more years of relevant work experience, must be in telecom and needs to have worked on network equipment.
• A PMP Certification or substantial course study / SME.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Possess the qualifications for a United States FAA - Public Trust Background Check.
