Summary:
CBM of America, LLC, is actively seeking a Controller. This position is based in CBM’s South Florida office with a hybrid
schedule opportunity after 90 days. Responsible for the detailed financial management, accounting, and administration of
the company. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, the maintenance of an adequate accounting system
and accounting records. Enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and ensure that reported
results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
Preparing financial statements.
●Establishing and maintaining internal controls.
●Managing all aspects of the general ledger.
●Providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses.
●Coordinating the budget process.
●Analyzing and reporting cost variances.
●Serving as a liaison to external auditors.
●Supervising accounts payable and treasury functions.

Qualifications:
•Accounting degree required.
•Minimum 7 years of experience in private industry and public accounting.
•Billing/Invoicing/Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience.
•An advanced understanding of spreadsheet programs such as Excel.
•Must possess strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
•Responsive to internal and external customers.
•NetSuite software experience preferred.
•Prior supervisory experience.
•Industry experience in Construction or Manufacturing preferred.
•Familiarity with Google-based platforms (email, calendar, shared drives, etc.)


Mathematical Skills and Reasoning Ability:
•Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
•Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Ability to apply principles of logic and business thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, graphs, abstracts, etc.) in its most difficult phases.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
•C.P.A. preferred.

Physical Demands:
•The employee will be required to use his/her hands 90% of the time to type, write, and handle paperwork.
•The employee will be sitting at a desk 80% of the time while walking between offices and other work areas from time to time.
•The employee may, from time to time, be required to lift weight (i.e., paper boxes) up to 15 pounds.
•Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) is generally required, as the employee will be working at a computer and working with files & paperwork.

Work Environment:
•The work environment will consist of a business office setting. That means a clean, air-conditioned, setting including moderate noise levels (i.e., computers and printers, phones, and light traffic).
