Summary:
The Information Technology Technician is responsible for performing a range of duties to support, fix, and maintain the hardware and software systems throughout CBM of America. Ideal candidates 
have a knack for troubleshooting, working to identify root causes, and providing suggestions for continuous improvement. Join a team with over 30 years of experience as an innovator and provider of custom networking solutions for the communications industry.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
•     None

Duties and Responsibilities:
•     Support the computers, peripherals, network, wireless, and VoIP phones, both on-premise and at remote locations.
•     Troubleshoot computer problems, outages, and other system issues as necessary.
•     Install hardware and peripheral components such as memory, SSDs, monitors, keyboards, and printers.
•     Initiate local computer and equipment repairs, and coordinate vendor repairs.
•     Install and support software such as Windows, Microsoft Office, AntiVirus, and other applications.
•     Respond to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems.
•     Administer the enterprise Google Workspace system.
•     Participate in disaster recovery procedures and testing.
•     Suggest improvements to IT processes, and work to implement enhancements and new procedures as necessary.
•     Maintain IT assets and licenses in the tracking system.
•     Assist in making and running cables.
•     Perform other related duties as assigned.
•     Up to 10% travel.

Education and Experience:
●    Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and/or 3+ years of work experience in a similar role.
●    CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience preferred. Additional certifications are a plus.
●    Microsoft Certified Professional MCP or greater.
●    MCITP preferred.
●    Cisco CCNA a plus.

Required Skills and Abilities:
•     Efficient and effective communication with customers and colleagues via web conference, email, phone, and in person.
•     Ability to analyze, diagnose problems, and work independently to solve them.
•     Work on multiple simultaneous projects. Follow through issues to completion.
•     Work well within the team and collaborate cross-functionally.
•     Proficient in troubleshooting systems, software installation, and accurate database record keeping.
•     Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems.
•     Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio), Microsoft Active Directory, Antivirus, and Internet cloud-based applications.
